Social & Sponsorship Committee: Description: The Social and Sponsorship committee works together to gather and connect fellow athletic trainers not only in PAATS but in the general PA community. We work actively to recruit and engage with sponsors on how they can better support AT’s in the arts. Social Committee - -Help with planning all social and networking activities at our annual symposium -Plan all social and networking activities at NATA, PAMA, IADMS -Help with expanding networking activities with other ATC’s in the PA community. Desired skills - Canva, willingness to reach out to establishments to plan social events Sponsorship - -Help find new sponsors who may be interested in the performing arts - Foster current relationships with current sponsors Desired skills - Good communication skills to work with current and present sponsors.
Membership & Bylaws: Description: -Receives and reviews proposals for changes to by-laws -Revises and recommends any proposed changes to by-laws to Executive Board -Works with other committees to promote membership in the society
Education: Description: Develops and oversees educational programming for events that offer continuing education units (CEUs). This includes planning content for the annual virtual business meeting and the annual in-person symposium. -Develops “Calls for Abstracts” and identifies invited speakers, -Performs blinded reviews of submitted abstracts, -Creates educational programming schedule for the annual symposium, -Ensures compliance with BOC reporting standards, -Identifies volunteers or serves as volunteers during annual symposium, -Collaborates with “Joint Society Symposium” workgroup, -Collaborates with the PAATS Social Media & Website committee for marketing of and registration for events, -Collaborates with the PAATS Sponsorship committee to identify sponsorship needs for educational events, and -Collaborates with the PAATS External Organization Liaison for speaker recruitment and external educational events
Social Media & Website: Description: Develops and maintains the brand and marketing identity for PAATS to facilitate unified messaging for members, sponsors, and the broader AT community. Social Media - -Develops and creates the original content for PAATS social media -Collaborates with Sponsors for annual posts -Host social media take overs/AMAs with broader Performing Arts AT community Desired skills - Canva, video creation, able to navigate social media Web - -Maintains website appearance and clarity -Seeks out information for the resources page -Test forms/webpage functionality -Create newsletters and other member communication content Desired skills - wix/web editing (not required)
Student & Early Professionals: Description: -Represents students and early career professionals to assist with educational needs such as transition to practice and exposure to various settings with performing arts -Assists with placing students on other committees to help provide representation and ideas
